Mentoring Service Agreement

Background

(A) Shepherd® provides mentoring sessions to business owners and managers who wish to receive guidance and support in areas such as digital strategy, CRM, marketing, and business growth.

(B) The Mentee has chosen to engage Shepherd® for mentoring services. This agreement sets out the terms of that engagement.


1. Term

1.1 This agreement applies to each mentoring session booked and paid for by the Mentee through Shepherd®’s booking and payment system.

1.2 The agreement will continue in force for the duration of the booked session(s) and any follow-up support explicitly agreed in writing.


2. Services

2.1 Shepherd® will provide the Mentee with mentoring sessions of the agreed format and duration (video or face-to-face).

2.2 Each session is designed to provide practical guidance, frameworks, and next steps tailored to the Mentee’s business context.

2.3 Mentoring does not include ongoing implementation, unless separately contracted as a consulting or project engagement.

4. Confidentiality

4.1 Shepherd® will treat all information provided by the Mentee as confidential and will not disclose it to any third party without the Mentee’s consent, except where required by law.

4.2 The Mentee acknowledges that electronic communication (email, online calls) may not be completely secure and accepts this risk.


5. Limitation of Liability

5.1 Mentoring sessions are provided for guidance only. Final decisions remain the responsibility of the Mentee.

5.2 Shepherd® is not liable for any loss, damage, or costs arising from actions taken (or not taken) by the Mentee following mentoring.

5.3 Liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid for the relevant mentoring session.


6. Termination & Rescheduling

6.1 The Mentee may reschedule a session up to 48 hours before the scheduled time using the reschedule/cancel link in their confirmation email.

6.2 If the Mentee cancels at least 48 hours before the session, they are entitled to a full refund or credit toward another session.

6.3 If the Mentee cancels within 48 hours of the scheduled session or does not attend, the session fee will be forfeited and no refund will be given.

6.4 If Shepherd® cancels a session, the Mentee may choose to receive a full refund or reschedule at no additional cost.


7. Miscellaneous

7.1 This agreement is governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.

7.2 Any disputes will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.

7.3 Nothing in this agreement creates a partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship between the parties.
